Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) is a private University in Meerut. Situated on a 250 acres campus, is established under section 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (U.G.C.) Act, 1956 set up under the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (U.P. Act No.29 of 2008) as passed by Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented by the honourable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008.

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has been established under the values of Mahayana Theravada Vajrayana Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust, Meerut, which has built a commendable record of service in the field of Education, Health care and Social Welfare.

The university's academic structure consists of 52 departments and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 25 other universities and organizations.

The university has a world-class infrastructure with the finest facilities and latest technologies. The entire campus has Wi-Fi and hostels are completely air-conditioned. Apart from that, the facilities like banks, gym, medical and canteens are on the round.

Courses offered by the University :

PGDCA

PGDCA stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. It is a one-year course for a fee of just 12000 INR. It is a 44 credits course with a total of 7 divisions.

You will be getting knowledge about computer fundamentals and programming in C, Data Structure through C, Internet and Ecommerce, Database Management Systems, Operating System with Unix & Shell programming, System Analysis & design, Visual Basic, Mathematics & Graph theory and practical assignments to give a hands-on knowledge.

The eligibility for this program is 10+2+3 or equivalent.

Bachelor of Arts

BA stands for Bachelors in Arts. It is offered in many specializations with a total of 36 credits. The minimum duration of completion is 3 years and the maximum duration to complete is 6 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 6 years, full fees have to be paid again.

The eligibility for this program is 10+2 or equivalent.

Bachelor of Business Administration

BBA stands for Bachelors in Business Administration. It is offered with a total of 42 credits per year. The minimum duration of completion is 3 years and the maximum duration to complete is 6 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 6 years, full fees have to be paid again. This has been designed to provide the students with a piece of in-depth knowledge and practical learning experience related to business, management, administration, corporate roles, consumer behaviour, marketing, business laws, financial management, etc.

The eligibility for this program is 10+2 or equivalent.

Bachelor of Science

BSC stands for Bachelors in Science. It is offered with a total of 34 credits per year. The minimum duration of completion is 3 years and the maximum duration to complete is 6 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 6 years, full fees have to be paid again. The scholars can choose among the two options, B.Sc. (PCM) for Maths’s specialization and B.Sc. (ZBC) for Biology specialization.

The eligibility for this program is 10+2 or equivalent with PCM for B.Sc. (PCM) and with PCB for B.Sc. (ZBC).

Bachelor of Computer Application

BCA stands for Bachelors in Computer Applications. It is offered with a total of 38 credits in the first year, 36 in the second year and 38 in the third year. The minimum duration of completion is 3 years and the maximum duration to complete is 6 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 6 years, full fees have to be paid again. It has a total of 23 subjects. The students will have hands-on knowledge on computer fundamentals, Database Management, Discrete Mathematics, computer-oriented statistical and optimization methods, computer graphics, software engineering and a lot more.

The eligibility for this program is 10+2 or equivalent.

Bachelor of Commerce

BCOM stands for Bachelors in Commerce. It is offered with a total of 30 credits in the first and second year and 32 credits in the third year. The minimum duration of completion is 3 years and the maximum duration to complete is 6 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 6 years, full fees have to be paid again.

Graduates of this program will be getting an in-depth knowledge of commercial and financial studies, accounting, business laws, economics, money & banking, business communication and a lot more. Either you can get an associate-level job in accountancy, finance, marketing, business or related field, or you can easily upscale your qualification and enrol yourself for further studies.

Master of Arts

MA stands for Masters in Arts. It is offered with a total of 32 credits in the first year, and 36 in the second year. The minimum duration of completion is 2 years and the maximum duration to complete is 5 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 5 years, full fees have to be paid again.

Masters in Arts can be done in various specialization subjects i:e, (English, Hindi, Political Science, Sociology, History). Scholars can get jobs in fields that require subjective knowledge, a lot of students get into research jobs or research studies.

Master of Business Administration

MBA stands for Masters in Business Administration. It is offered with a total of 56 credits each year and 20 credits for research project work and case analysis. The minimum duration of completion is 2 years and the maximum duration to complete is 5 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 5 years, full fees have to be paid again.

This course has been offered to provide professional studies to the scholars while they can take up responsible roles in the corporates.

To prepare students with their specialized interest areas, MBA in Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is offered with a dual specialization in Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Information Technology and Production & Operation Management.

Master of Computer Application

MCA stands for Masters in Computer Applications. It is offered with a total of 50 credits in the first year, 46 in the second year and 52 in the third year. The minimum duration of completion is 3 years and the maximum duration to complete is 6 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 6 years, full fees have to be paid again. It has a total of 24 subjects and a practical project as an internship.

The eligibility for this program is 10+2+3 with Mathematics or eq. (The students who have not pursued Mathematics as a distinct subject, are required to pass the qualifying exam)

Master of Commerce

MCOM stands for Masters in Commerce. It is offered with a total of 28 credits each year. The minimum duration of completion is 2 years and the maximum duration to complete is 5 years. If a student couldn’t complete the course in 5 years, full fees have to be paid again.
